Visitors are very welcome at the club
If you are thinking about joining, please come along for free to some of our Club social tennis sessions. These are currently on Tuesdays during the summer from 6:00 pm. Alternatively, join the ladies on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:30pm.
If you are just visiting the area and want to play, we are keen to help all tennis players. All we ask is for a donation of £10 to the club for use of the club facilities. You can contact Paul Johnston on 07912 215826 who will provide all the details.
Directions:
From A591 (Ambleside Rd): follow signs to Windermere town centre. Go through the one-way system, almost to the end, and then turn left in front of the Co-Op into Oak St. After 200 yards turn left into Orrest Drive/Droomer Drive. After another 400 yards look out for a small turning on the right (not signposted) into the Recreation Ground car park. From here, walk right, past the sports pavilion, towards the tennis courts.
From Bowness: drive north up Lake Rd, and turn right into Thornbarrow Rd. Take a left turn into Oakthwaite Rd, and go straight over into Limethwaite Rd. At a T-junction with Droomer Drive, turn left. Look for a left turn (not signposted) into the Recreation Ground car park. From here, walk right, past the sports pavilion, towards the tennis courts.
